Regardless of how good or bad the scores are for games like KZ2, I follow my own instincts and rent or in the case of KZ2, I buy it then go with my own opinion. Reviews these days are a loss and in most cases are the scorn of games that should and deserve far more recognition than they receive. Not to mention that in some cases, games that don't deserve it get more attention than they should.
Is that all that matters now to 360 fanboys? If so then you all must think it is pretty cool that the PS3 and 360 sold neck and neck last year right? Let's not get on the sale argument, we all know that the media lied to everyone by talking up the FUD and then at the end of the year Sony and MS release their real financial reports and bingo, the PS3 sold as much as the 360 and at twice the price... Sale - shmales.

They discover that all their lies about the PS3 falling far behind were just that, lies and what do they do? They buddy up and report the truth. What's to come of all the months the media slammed the PS3 all the while it was selling just as well as the 360 and with a price point of twice as much? Shame on the media.
Naughty Dog did something with Uncharted that nobody had done on any console. That was make the most beautiful console game for it's time. Now, KZ2 will set that bar and come this holiday season 2k9, Uncharted will do it again. Then, come spring of 2k10, God of War III... And the saga continues.
Ted already said they are taking the series to other people as protagonists. That is why he is not in the PSP game.

You would never hear Tor Davis call out 360 owners because he is a 360 fanboy himself. Yeah he might toss out a tid bit of bait saying how he likes some things Sony does but in the end he too has his nose up MS's arse. One of the best things about the Warzone was how he, a dedicated Xbox fanboy would duke it out with HipHop, who was once thought to be more Sony proned than 360.

I understand that logic and would believe it if we were seeing an install base of 10 million but the PS3 is double that now and is already a guaranty to developers that most if not all games will sell enough to be profitable. All I am saying is that sales of consoles at this time is for investors, not gamers. The install base of each console is a solid showing to developers that games will be sold on each platform and so the argument that more consoles sold ='s more games is a minute and dare...
New IP's fail horribly in sales and it is sales that insure that more new IP's come out. So, to all who did not buy any of the new IP's released in 2008 and yet complain about sequels... STHU.
Note: This post is not directed at anybody in particular but is in reference to those who complain about wanting fresh ideas in their gaming but won't buy the games that try so hard to give them what they want.
It also sounds like Sony is trying to hit each new year with a huge bang at the begining. It's a good idea when wanting to help create buzz.

Come on folks, at this late in the game, does any of this stuff really make a difference? Just asking because all I ever see from sales numbers is a bunch of fanboys getting their panties in a bunch over numbers that will never amount to anything for us gamers.

Can't recall the title that some review said that about but it was at that point where any credibility that game journalists still had with me was lost.
Sony sold more consoles than MS in 2007 and sold nearly as many as the 360 in 2008. It's no shock and only the idiot fanboys thought the PS3 was doomed after listening to the bias media that claimed only NPD data rather than waiting for a final and full report from each of the console manufacturers. Let this be a lesson to all the idiots out there, don't take what the media says as gospel, especially if it even remotely comes across as one sided (i.e. - NPD data alone).

That the 150 dollar BD player sucks balls and that the hardware for the 360 is still plagued with defects. All in all, you get what you pay for. If you want a combined package with quality written all over it, you buy the PS3. If you don't mind trading in your console for a new or refurbish one every so often and deal with a mediocre BD player then you go with the two piece package. I would go with quality over quantity.
Nobody does visually impressive crotch shots like PlatinumGames. Kudos to the camel toe clan of developers that have made this game look so friggin' impressive.
Please, give it a rest. 10 bucks for 2 hours of game is simply pathetic no matter what console it's on. This is not a console issue, this is Bethesda turning their backs on gamers in search of some KY to give us the skin flute up the pooper. Sorry, but no deal.
And so after every PS3 Firmware Update, we get a few consoles that die (or at least are claimed to have died) and bingo - It's the next big RROD fiasco. Sorry, but I'm not biting on this one and will chalk it up to just another update that works for me and gives some fanboys good reason to make chit up.
By the time it hits store shelves, there will have already been games out that rival it's complexity and looks. Time is the bane of all great developement projects. If you take too long to release your project, then somebody beats you to the punchline.
Do as I did and put your TV in PIP mode with an equal split screen (if your TV is capable) and then load up both demos. Taking a gander myself I can safely say that this comparison is bull.
